TAX PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE IN ONE OF 3 WAYS:
1.) ONLINE: Richland County Treasurer's Website
Please remember that computer is best to use when making payments.
The portal is difficult to use when using cellphones.
***Please use “Guest Sign In” to search and view tax parcel data***

2.) DROP OFF (20043 BERGER RD, RICHLAND CENTER, WI 53581)
You may drop your tax payments in the secure drop box (gold slot) by the east side door.
3.) US MAIL (Tammy Newberry, 16530 Kanton Rd, Muscoda, WI 53573)
You may send your tax payments via mail to the Treasurer.
NOTE: USPS adopted a new process of postmarks being affixed at the regional sorting centers, instead of when the item is first touched by the local Postal Service.
Make checks payable to: Town of Dayton
(Please include your phone number on your payment)
***WHEN PAYING BY EITHER METHOD, PLEASE ENCLOSE A SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE FOR MAILING OF YOUR RECEIPTS IF YOU WANT ONE. ***
Pay only real estate taxes on the check.
Pay any dog license and fire calls on separate check. Notate what the check is for.

All dog owners are required, by state law (WI Stat. §174.07), to license and vaccinate for rabies, each of their dogs. Complete and return the license application below, with applicable fee, for each dog you own, to the Town of Dayton Treasurer.
Please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope for return of license tag.
